Cover Art for A Basket of Trouble
Drumroll!
I am very pleased to show off the cover art for A Basket of Trouble, the third book in my Claire Hanover gift basket designer mystery series. This book will be released on November 8th, just in time for holiday gift shopping. And notice the bright red and green colors on the cover! Wouldn't it make an excellent addition to a Christmas gift basket for a mystery lover? What do YOU think of the cover?

Beth, What a nice cover. I especially like the detail of the contents of the basket. Very clever with the background. Congratulations.
Visually striking cover, Beth.
I think the tag with the Claire Hanover series label adds to the "gift" element around the holiday season.
Good luck and remind us when it does come out in Nov.
Thanks, Velda and Claire! The "gift tag" was developed by the Midnight Ink Art Department as an identification code for the whole series and appears on all the Claire Hanover gift basket designer books. The art department also developed a tag for my RM Outdoor Adventure series that is supposed to be the company logo of Mandy and Rob's outfitter company. I really like how MI Art Department tries to give each of their series a unique look and feel in the cover art.
I like the cover, Beth. Lots of color and contrast. A table set for a picnic, but a hammer in the basket!
Very fun -- love the title font -- and books are always great gifts! And yes, the tag is spot on.
Thanks, Helen and Leslie!
I agree, Leslie, that books make great gifts, especially mystery books whose theme goes along with the recipient's other interests (besides reading).
Love the gift basket, Beth. Nice colors, clean type, says what it's supposed to say. That's what a cover should do.
I'm always enticed by your covers! ANother great one.
Love the cover, Beth. Eyecatching.
Great color scheme, and I like all the details. Very nice!
Tasty :)
Thanks, Polly, Kath, Patricia, Stinalyn and Judy Dee! I certainly hope this cover proves to be eyecatching enough to draw in new readers to the series.
