A fellow writer's essay on character
Sheila Deeth wrote a lovely little blog post about learning from other writers, using characterization as an example. As she says, "So maybe 'write what you know' means write about people you might understand." She just happens to use my gift basket designer, Claire Hanover, as an example character, and I thank you for that, Sheila!

Thanks Beth. She is a great character. (And it's really nice to think you actually read my blog!)
