Article about Using Goodreads Effectively to Promote Your Books

Jeffrey Marks, who maintains the Murder Must Advertise website that is associated with the yahoogroup of the same name for mystery authors trading promotion tips, recently posted my article "Using Goodreads Effectively to Promote Your Books" on the Fresh Ideas page of the website. It outlines specific steps for using the author program and other promotion techniques on the Goodreads book reading social network. I hope other authors find it useful, mystery or otherwise!

Thanks for the link, Beth. I'll definitely check it out, but not today - it's a gorgeous Sunday afternoon here in upstate NY and I've "got to get myself back to the garden," as Joni Mitchell would say.

As a seasoned Blog Book Tours alum, would you say it's worth posting on weekends? I'm still mulling that one over.

This was a great article. I've been on Goodreads since 2007 but hadn't really known what to do with it. I went and immediately used some of your suggestions. Thank you!
